Built by the French in 1899, the Ke Ga Lighthouse is considered the most beautiful and oldest lighthouse in Vietnam. Sixty-five meters high, it takes 184 steps to get to the top, where one can view gorgeous and tranquil scenery below, including the Ta Cu Mountain, forests and the ocean. Nearby the beaches are the Dinh Thay Thim (Thay Thim Palace) in La Gi, Ta Cu Mountain, Linh Son Truong Tho Pagoda and the lying-down 49 meter long Buddhist statue.
